WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13TH ANNOUNCEMENTS

The bowling team will meet after school today in the spine.

 

Tonight’s volleyball game against Providence being at 5:30 & 7pm. Wear your red, white and blue Kilt Krew shirt.

 

Hear ye Here ye:  Jostens will be here today @ lunch to collect senior graduation orders. Ring orders can be turned in tomorrow.   If you need an order packet for either one – come to the office.

 

Homecoming nominations are being accepted today through this Friday @ lunch. 

 

There will be a Success Card give away Thursday in the spine at lunch.
 
All members of Student Renaissance are to meet Thursday at 9am in the MPR. 

 

Spanish students bring in donations this week of Hygiene & cleaning supplies.  Win a doughnut party for your class!

 

Don’t forget if you are a freshman or junior and want to take the PSAT, sign-up at the bookstore by Thursday, Sept. 28th.  All sophomores and juniors take the exam FREE.  The cost for freshmen is $15.  The PSAT is Wednesday October 25th.

 

Who wants to be a College Student” applications are available on the scholarship board.  The Contest is Monday, September 25th at

NAHS.  If you are present and your name is called, you are automatically granted $450 in scholarship money. Turn in application to Mrs. Simler by September 22.

 

Check in the guidance office and sign up for upcoming college visits:  Holy Cross (Notre Dame) this Thursday – Sept. 14 @ 9am; Anderson University 9-28- @ 8am and Indiana State Oct. 19th @ 8:30am.

 

The YMCA is in need of part-time Child Care Enrichment Program staff for Mondays – Fridays after school at various elementary schools in Floyd County.  Job requirements include: a desire to work with youth, communication and group management skills, and assisting with implementation of curriculum activities. DUAL CREDIT INFO!!!  In order to earn dual credits, you MUST apply for through Ivy Tech ASAP.  If you have taken dual credit classes in the past, there is no need to apply again.
