TYE-DYE TUESDAY, SEPT. 26TH ANNOUNCEMENTS

**Students please check the lost and found by the bookstore for water bottles, lunch boxes and clothes before Fall Break.  

 

 

Students can now vote for Homecoming Queen through the link sent to their e-mails until the end of schoolon Thursday.   Also those students on homecoming court are to submit the information sheet to Ms. Smith by the end of the school day Wednesday

 

Yearbooks are in and being distributed in the spine at lunch.

 

See Mrs. Cambron to sign up for the FREE PSAT/SAT workshop next week 12:30 – 2:30 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

 

Thursday is the College Fair for juniors and seniors – seniors can go to the gym 2nd period and juniors 3rdperiod.  They will also be here through lunch.

 

Tonight is senior night at the girls’ soccer game against JEFF happening before the game time of 7:30 pm.

 

Girls interested in playing tennis in the spring need to attend a meeting TODAY in A-105 immediately after school. 

 

Wednesday the Republican Club will meet in B-104 after school.

 

Students interested in the swimming & diving season should attend an informational meeting this Thursday, Sept. 28th at 2:45 in the MPR room.

 

 

Seniors…. turn in your Josten’s cap and gown order to Mrs. Stewart this week – deadline is this Friday.

 

Fun Fest tickets are on sale this week for $25 in the spine at lunch.  Bracelet lets you participate in Friday’sactivities and admission to the Homecoming game.  Spirit day tomorrow is HAT DAY with a $1 donation that can be brought in through today at lunch, proceeds go to the hurricane victims; Thursday is Hick Day and FRIDAY is  WEAR YOUR PURPLE IN support of Coach Glesing.  
 
Learn at Every Turn travel permits are due to Mrs. Sowder Friday.
 

PSAT sign ups end Thursday for freshmen and juniors at the bookstore. Freshmen will pay $15juniors are free.  The test is Wednesday October 25th.

 

Sign up TODAY for Thursday’s college visit from Anderson University @ 8am and Indiana State will be here Thursday, Oct. 19th @ 8:30am.

Unigo offers many scholarships for students monthly.  Scholarships range from couponing to zombie apocalypse.  Copies of scholarship opportunities are on the scholarship board and also in google classroom under Class of 2018.

Are you making a difference through volunteering?  Apply for the Prudential Spirit of Community Award!  Apply at nassp.org/spirit.  Deadline Nov. 7.
 
Interested in Washington University in St. Louis?  See a counselor to be nominated for the Danforth Scholars program.  Deadline is Nov. 15.
 
AXA achievement scholarship available in the counseling office.  For students with outstanding achievement in school, work and community.  Deadline is Dec. 15th 
 
*Georgetown Lions Club offers a scholarship to seniors with strong volunteerism. Applications are on the Scholarship Board. Deadline is April 2.
