IMPORTANT:  Jostens returns this week @ lunch to collect senior graduation orders on Wednesday and ring orders on Thursday  If you need an order packet for either one – come to the office.


There will be a Success Card give away Thursday.  Stop by the Spine at lunch for a free treat.
Student Renaissance will have a meeting on Thursday at 9am in the MPR.  All members need to be present.


The Interact Club’s first meeting is after school today in the MPR Room.


Spanish students are reminded about the Hurricane Harvey donation drive this week.  Hygiene & cleaning supplies are needed.  Class winner for each Spanish teacher wins a doughnut party.


The Science Olympiad Team is looking for another regional win. The first meeting today (9/12) in D-101 from 2:30 to 3:30. See Mr. Goforth if you have any questions. 

Don’t forget if you are a freshman or junior and want to take the PSAT, sign-up at the bookstore by Thursday, Sept. 28th All sophomores and juniors take the exam FREE.  The cost for freshmen is $15.  The PSAT is Wednesday October 25th.


“Who wants to be a College Student” applications are available on the scholarship board.  The Contest isMonday, September 25th at NAHS.  If you are present and your name is called, you are automatically granted $450 in scholarship money. Turn in  application to Mrs. Simler by September 22.   

Sign up in the guidance office for the following college visits:  Cross (Notre Dame) this Thursday – Sept. 149am; Anderson University 9-28- @ 8am and Indiana State Oct. 19th @ 8:30am.


The YMCA is in need of part-time Child Care Enrichment Program staff for Mondays – Fridays after school at various elementary schools in Floyd County.  Key job requirements and responsibilities include: a desire to work with youth, strong communication and group management skills, and assisting with implementation of curriculum activities. DUAL CREDIT INFO!!!  In order to earn dual credits, you MUST apply for through Ivy Tech ASAP.  If you have taken dual credit classes in the past, there is no need to apply again.
