MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 11TH ANNOUNCEMENTS

SOPHOMORES & SENIORS:  Josten’s returns this week @ lunch.  Seniors need to turn in graduation order on Wednesday and Sophomores turn in ring orders on Thursday.  If you need an order packet for either one – come to the office.

 

Join AGE Society: Acts of Gratitude and Encouragement meets today in F-108 after school.   

 

Student council meets TOMORROW 2nd period!

 

The Interact Club’s first meeting is after school tomorrow in the MPR Room. Applications are in the library.

 

 “Who wants to be a College Student” applications are available on the scholarship board.  The Contest is Monday, September 25th at NAHS.  If your name gets called, you are automatically granted $450 in scholarship money. Turn applications in to Mrs. Simler by September 22.

 

ALL Spanish students are reminded about Hurricane Harvey donation drive this week.  Hygiene & cleaning supplies are needed.  Class winner for each Spanish teacher wins a doughnut party.

 

The Science Olympiad Team is looking for young geniuses to help us win another regional competition. The first meeting is tomorrow (9/12) in D-101 from 2:30 to 3:30. See Mr. Goforth if you have any questions. 
 

Don’t forget if you are a freshman or junior and want to take the PSAT, sign-up at the bookstore by Thursday, Sept. 28th All sophomores and juniors take the exam FREE.  The cost for freshmen is $15.  The PSAT is Wednesday October 25th.

 

Sign up in the guidance office for the following college visits:  Cross (Notre Dame) this Thursday – Sept. 149am; Anderson University 9-28- @ 8am and Indiana State Oct. 19th @ 8:30am.

DUAL CREDIT INFO!!!  In order to earn dual credits, you MUST apply for through Ivy Tech ASAP.  If you have taken dual credit classes in the past, there is no need to apply again.
